We believe that well-rounded behavioral intervention programs require proactive clinical care to determine individualized approaches and strategies to best fit each student. In our ongoing care, we uphold and respect the emotional and social development of the student, prioritizing academic and personal needs. When assessing, creating, and implementing an individualize behavior plan, it is essential for us to work across multidisciplinary therapeutic interventions (e.g., psychologist, counselors, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, AAC specialists), applicable to the needs of each student, to ensure they are supported across their environments and participating team members.
Behavioral Heath Services uses a combination of evidence based methodologies including:
- Pivotal Response Training (PRT)
- Discrete Trial Training (DTT)
- Social Skills Training (SST)
- Functional Communication Training (FCT)
- Natural Environment Teaching (NET)
- Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT)*
- Trauma-Informed Care*
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)*
*In collaborative treatment with psychologists
